Guy was an overstayer, 59 days apparently, that will get you guys excited? Plus he took 2 of her phones

A smart move to take her Phones especially if she had her "locate my phone" service enabled....

There is a good reason that Thais run away when involvement with the police is likely, and it is their justice system!

Pillion and I were knocked from our bke while turning right, by a thai man driving a pickup. He stopped, walked back and saw we were unconscious, got back in and drove off. A busy road but not one Thai noted his number, wonder why?

Maybe the re-enactment can show exactly how she she fell off the balcony during sex seems weird story

To have sex on the balcony is not that unusual, but to make it (voluntary) on the railing seems a bit odd especially from the female point of view which will be the exposed party in such a setting....

Just the fact that he ran away makes him an absolutely despicable piece of sh*t.  Whether or not it was an accident only he knows.  What happens to him now will depend greatly on how much money he can lay his hands on.  A large payment to the girls family with a cut for the police would ease his situation, without money he may well end up doing time.  I haven't got any sympathy for him based on what he did after the event.

So the guy is banging  her on the balcony,  she falls over and he just thinks bummer!!

so moves to stay at another hotel? And people are commenting on why is he with a prostitute in the first place; as if this is an everyday occurrence.

Well being with a sex worker is an every day occurrence but her falling of the balcony is not!

A very good argument for full legitimisation, regulation and protection for sex workers.

The same sort of protection that anyone in a profession with potential hazards might expect.

Well said.

Can I volunteer my wife for the re-enactment?

Can be that the suspect must play that role in the absence of the victim as he is the only one who can reproduce what actually happened...:shock1:

Single men in Pattaya are rarely there for the beach!  They are usually there to screw the bar girls (or boys) so this scenario is not unusual at all.  Let's not make moral judgements here.  By running away it indicates that he has pushed her from the balcony or that he is a spineless, gutless piece of scum.  Either way he deserves what he gets.

Totally and absolutely agree. Prostitution should be legalised and placed under some kind of controlling authority, regulated, imposed safe health practices and safe environments for these women to ply their trade.

You mean the police, army and government ministers aren't running them properly?

Yes, I read two previous stories that they were arguing.   The first one reported arguing near the apartment, Another one said they argued at the bar.

"another said they argued at the bar"

This raises yet another question, if this is true why did she leave with him ?  Probably to keep her quota up and of course the $$$$$$$ and her safety was obviously not high on her agenda.

Why would a 26yo man need to be anywhere near bargirls [prostitutes], and on Viagra too? Poor girl probably refused unreasonable sexual demands and things deteriorated from there,[ it's amazing how fast the 'girlfriend experience' can turn nasty], violence resulted, girl gets thrown off balcony. If this is the case I hope he gets 50years in Bang Kwang.

If true, 49.9 years.

The original report implied it.

The link to a video clip from a local newswire that was posted earlier includes his arrest and footage from the accident/crime scene that shows an opened, empty Kamagra (ED medication) packet.

And say if prostitution was legalised and regulated , how would that have stopped this woman from going over the balcony ?

He's 25, the bargirl was 26. What I don';t understand is that you're making so many things up here. Where's anything about Viagra? And were you there to see "unreasonable" sex? Have you lost your reading glasses, or did a foreign bag snatcher get them?

The empty Kamagra packet is shown on the video linked in the earlier post that quite a few people have also speed-read over.

Not taken in for questioning but arrested ? They must have some good evidence to link him to the death then !!

Waste of life...

Maybe the guy 'confessed' to erm... something they'll turn into the Thai legal equivalent of 'manslaughter'? Assuming it was an accident- how life can turn very sour at the drop of a ...... oh you know what I mean.

Anyhow, I feel very sorry for the young lady and her family.
