Insurance company for big bikes

Featured Replies

Anyone with any recommendations?

I've used Southeast insurance previously but they don't insure Ducatis any longer??

Thanks.

I use AA Insurance in Pattaya. They search out the best deal from a number of insurance companies. They speak English. You don't even need to go in the office as I use to live in Pattaya and now in Korat. I just wire the money to their bank account. They will also take a credit card but they add a service charge with CC.

Thanks for that i'll get a couple of quotes from them.

Yea quite a few Thai insurance companies stopped insuring Ducatis. When I bought my Scrambler I got first class with Viriyah I think. Was 18k THB. There were probably many crashes with Ducatis as a lot of rich kids wanted something to show off and they tend to be expensive to fix. A good idea to try a broker as Rdrokit suggested. Also try directly Viriyah, LMG and Tokio Marine. They are pretty big and might still do Ducatis.

I use AA too, have done for 4 or 5 years on my ducati and car, no complaints here! Did everything via email and they are good at chasing me up come renewal date!

Thanks for the tips, i've been in touch with AA and am probably going to go with NSI, about 25K (ish).
