Hotel recommendations

Looking for 2 rooms or a 2 bed apartment for 1 night in BKK. Would prefer Sukhumvit or Ratchada. Roof top pool and bar would be perfect. Price range up to 10,000 baht for the night.

Have looked on all the sites but there are thousands of options and i would prefer a recommendation.

Ruamchitt Travelodge..soi 13 Sukhumvit. About 1000 per room, nice rooftop pool.  Radisson blue or holiday inn Sukhumvit for more $$$$, maybe 3800 and 2590 per room.  Fancier hotels just try to squeeze every penny out of you and the buffets drinks often suck, but a nice rooftop pool is great.  Sathorn Saint has a very clean rooftop pool and you can BYOB...500 per night.

Try Marriot Suk Soi 57. Great roof top bar and decent pool on about the 6th or 7th floor.

2 minute walk from Thonglor BTS.

They have a serviced apartment side there, so you might be able to get a 2 bed apartment room there.

Looking at the Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor. Anybody have any knowledge?

With a budget of "up to 10k" you can stay at every 5 star hotel in BKK. And if you look on Agoda and they have a score >8 you can not really do much wrong.

So it probably depends mostly on the location, for example the "Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor": About a 10 minute walk from the BTS, in the evening you can't take a taxi in Thonglor, unless you are willing to drive with less than walking speed, so if you plan to go to other places than just staying at the hotel i would just get one right next to a BTS or MRT station

Recommendation choose the highest rating 5 star hotel.
