Off topic venting/trolling AGAIN.

Can't you, Skywalker, and Bruce just start a kind of recovery group for bad losers to get over your Trump resentment.

Why are you so DESPERATE to educate us rational thinkers that are willing to give him a chance, as he was after all, voted in democratically.

You have made your point that you don't want him to remain in office. Do we have to hear this cry baby stuff hurt the remainder of that time?

Look at the poll,  the majority WANT him to stay for the full term. Why can't you accept this?

You, like all members have had their vote,  just like the previous thread with a poll that turned into a "post anything bad about Trump" thread.

Why don't you prove you are a rational thinker and debate those who are providing rational reasons why Trump is a threat to the US?

Why don't you explain to us how exercising our right to freedom of speech and opinion is preventing Trump from doing his job?

The Bill of Rights exists to allow citizens to hold corrupt and incompetent elected officials to account.  If you don't like that, find another country.  Or at the very least, find another topic, you aren't required to follow this one.

Well, here' s a good reason to want Trump out. Consider this nomination of his for the judiciary:

Trump federal judicial nominee refuses to say whether she supports racial segregation in schools

Brown v. Wendy Vitter?

A Louisiana lawyer nominated by President Trump for a federal judgeship refused to affirm whether she's opposed to school segregation during a congressional hearing Wednesday.

Wendy Vitter, an outspoken anti-abortion activist and counsel for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans, went before the Senate Judiciary Committee for a confirmation hearing to become the district judge of the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Top quality candidate from Trump. A top Southern woman.

Obviously Trump and her husband (ex) are probably mates as they have a lot in common. Senator (R) Vitter the Strict Christian  was another one in a big "i have been using prostitutes scandal"!

I don't see how the "trump" presidency doesn't go into a downward spiral now, after the lawyer confiscation. Exactly when it goes down the drain is hard to tell. But it sure looks like that's where it's going now. Surely, even "trump" supporters can see that now, yeah? I get it they will blame other people than the obvious person responsible ("trump") for his downfall, but the end result is the same.

So here is your man, POTUS the experienced businessman the best negotiator, the best deal maker the one that said TPP was a terrible deal for the USA. Y'all tired of all this winning yet? Will those Trump supporters who said how great he was for getting the USA out of TPP like to do a 180 with him and support him now?

Trump weighs rejoining Trans-Pacific Partnership amid trade dispute with China

President Trump told top administration officials Thursday to look at rejoining the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the multination trade agreement he pulled the United States out of shortly after taking office.

Rejoining the pact would be a major reversal as Trump escalates a trade conflict with China. The Pacific Rim trade deal was intended by the Obama administration as a way to counter China’s influence, but Trump criticized the pact as a candidate and pulled the United States out of the pact in early 2017.

Trump then told Lighthizer and Kudlow to “take a look at getting us back into that agreement, on our terms of course,” Thune said. “He was very I would say bullish about that.”

:cheesy:  The other 11 countries that went ahead and signed their own deal without the USA will now ensure that the USA get 10 times more of a crapola deal than before. This is so funny it is rib cracking. President Xi will be choking on regurgitated noodles he will be laughing so hard. I bet Kudlow just wishes he was back as a 5 times a week contributor on Fox News (he would have been paid more that's for sure).

Just too funny. Even some of his Senators are catching the "I too can talk like a petulant 10 year old" disease.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) also confirmed Trump’s surprise move.

“We should be leading TPP,” Sasse said. “China is a bunch of cheaters and the best way to push back on their cheating would be to be leading all these other rule of law nations in the Pacific that would rather be aligned with the U.S. than with China.”

Well Senator, you and your Republican colleagues should have thought of that BEFORE you allowed Trump to destroy the USA's position as World Leader.

The Whitehouse turns to the Jokehouse.

The unpopular populist.

It’s hard to be the populist cult leader who delegitimizes opponents when your base shrinks to a fraction of a minority party. The forgotten men and women aren’t forgotten, but they may be ready to kick Trump to the curb.

Likely Trump will no longer be President by the time USA is ready for ratifying TPP-11. In the meantime it would be interesting to read an analysis of the cost of lost opportunity for the US economy due to Trump's prior stupidity.

Trump weighs rejoining Trans-Pacific Partnership amid trade dispute with China

President Trump ordered top administration officials Thursday to look at rejoining the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the sprawling trade pact he rejected three days after taking office.

The move would mark a stunning reversal for Trump, who sharply criticized the pact as a “disaster” and made opposition to global trade deals a centerpiece of his economic agenda as a candidate.

The Obama administration had inked the trade agreement, known as TPP, with 11 other countries, including Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia, to lower tariffs and counter China’s influence in the Pacific.

Another interesting explanation on why the people hurt most by "trump" are among his most loyal supporters. It doesn't make LOGICAL sense of course but that's not the point.

SADOPOPULISM! There may be no cure.

Pain is the reward: Here’s what pundits keep getting wrong about Trump and his supporters

Trump’s voters are suffering. They still love him. Mainstream journalists lack any understanding of this pathology

...

Encouraged by presidential racism, such people could understand their own pain as a sign of still greater pain inflicted upon others. ... such a voter is changing the currency of politics from achievement to suffering, from pain to gain, helping a leader of their choice establish a regime of sadopopulism. Such a voter can believe that he or she has chosen who administers their pain, and can fantasize that this leader will hurt enemies still more. ... If people who support the government expect their reward to be pain, then a democracy based upon policy competition between parties is endangered.

The state of the anti-trump resistance. The fact that he isn't impeached or defeated YET does not mean it's failing.

Let’s start with the fact that seems most vexing to the resistance critics: the failure of Trump’s approval rating to fall below 40 percent, even as bad news mounts. To be clear, at 40 percent, Trump remains as unpopular as he was when he was the most unpopular first-year president ever — 20 points below Gerald Ford after he pardoned Richard Nixon. True, Trump has not sunk further in this sub-sub-basement level of public support, but that misses the point: The success of the anti-Trump movement is in keeping him there, notwithstanding the low unemployment rate, stock market gains and billions in tax-cut stimulus surging through the economy.

At this stage of the thread, are the anti-Trumpers angry at Trump for being too close/colluding with Russia or is the issue Trump being too hard on Russia(you know, seeing as Trump has just invaded a main Russian ally nation), and us being on the cusp of a US/Russia nuclear war thanks to it all. Too much love for Russia, or not enough love for Russia? It is hard to keep up at times.

It only works one way for those who hate Trump.

Why are people blaming Trump on trying to solve problems caused by Bush lying about Weapons of Mass Destruction. And didn't Clinton bomb Iraq to avoid a sexual scandal?

I'm sick of the USA and their corrupt activities/presidents and war mongering.

Can the Americans see that all their lies and starting of wars has consequences and has led to the imminent fall of their empire.

Trump shouldn't be in office but there is a long list before him who also should have been.

We're angry with Trump for having no Russia policy, or Syria policy, or any policy.  We're angry at Trump for being corrupt and incompetent.  We're puzzled and disturbed that so many people think it's a good idea to have a clueless reality TV blowhard in the White House.

I stand corrected, Clinton did authorize a four day joint US-UK bombing campaign of Iraq in 1998 for failure to comply with agreements on WMD.    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Iraq_(1998)

Compared to the stuff Bush got is into, Desert Fox almost seems like a nonevent.  This was pre-9/11, so Fox News said everything Clinton did militarily was in order to distract from the Lewinski affair.  After 9/11 Fox News said Clinton didn't do enough militarily to prevent the attack.

No.  Fox News is a consistent critic of all things Clinton, and the source of claims that everything Bill Clinton did was an attempt to distract from the Lewinski affair.  Since you parroted the Fox News line I thought you might be a fan.
