try www.rcweb.net or one of the performance car dealers like Buddy or Infinity on Petchaburi Rd.

Another option would be to go to Khlong 5 dragstrip on a saturday night and talk to some of the Supra owners there.

Good luck,

Sky.

hey thanks...

I am in debate over what to get this summer, really want a Supra...just gotta find the right one...

Are you looking for a MKIV or MKIII Supra? Turbo or non-turbo? Manual or Auto? Here in the US... Supra's are everywhere but it's the MKIV's that are very hard to come by... especially the 6-speed turbo version. A rough one with 130,000 miles still commands a lot of money. Ever since that embarrassing movie, the Fast and the Furious was released, Supra prices started going back up.

Which shop built the car and engine for you? Lovely spec!

I thought you were selling this and where off back to your home country?

I really had no intention of selling it, I was just fishing to see if there was any interest out there, if someone came along and gave me B2.6 and got me in the right mood I might sell it but as of now, I have no intention of either going back to the UK or selling my car "I Love it"

Yes its a rocket, i have given it the nick name "slingshot" as that is what it feels like when you boot it

I was once taken for a spin in a Nissan 200SX drag car with 2JZ-GTE and Greddy T88 turbo running on AVGAS (aviation fuel).

Nothing could have prepared me for it. NDWgolf, you will know what I mean about tunnel vision as the turbo boosts. It completely redefined my concepts of forward motion. Absolutely mindblowing.

At the time I had a car with 1JZ-GTE, E-manage and big single turbo, and a Honda Fireblade motorcycle so its not as if I was a stranger to speed.

There are some well specced 2JZ Cefiro A31's around for reasonable money, perhaps I'll treat myself one day.

Finding someone competent and honest to maintain tuned cars is a challenge, especially outside BKK.

Sold a couple of years ago but I still miss that car, I'm sure you'd miss the Supra if you sold it.

Cheers

Was wondering if anyone knew of any for sale or where i could find one? Or if you know someone who owns one that may know where I can get one?

:o

-Thanks

Check out the Arto TRD garage on Srinakarin Road (02 362 5078). Arto and his team usually know folks with good condition Supras who are looking to buy/sell and he did a good job of helping me sell my old gal. Buyer beware, of course, but would trust them more than the tents.
