rooster59 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Nine teens arrested for stealing motorbikes in Bangkok By The Nation Police have arrested nine boys aged between 13 to 17 and seized eight motorcycles allegedly stolen from various parts of Bangkok. The arrests were announced at the juvenile and women’s welfare division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau by its deputy commissioner, Pol Maj-General Panurat Lakboon. Panurat said the teenagers were arrested at 5.30am Friday when patrol police of the juvenile division arrived at a police flat building in Tha Raeng sub-district in Bang Khen district. The youngsters were seen with three motorcycles whose engines were turned on but the bikes carried no licence plates and had no keys. The teens were taken to the juvenile division for questioning. Police checked and found that the motorcycles had been reported stolen at three police stations. During interrogation, the boys admitted they had stolen more than 20 motorcycles. Most of them were dismantled, so their parts could be sold. Following the interrogation, police located and seized five more motorcycles. Panurat said the boys were handed over to their parents, and would face charges in court at a later date. LazySlipper Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 It starts in kindergarten. When you have a 'no fail' policy in the education system you are teaching children that there is a 'no fault' policy in life. Kids grow up learning that there are no consequences for bad behavior.

Wouldn't charge them. Just say to them that they are now 100% in the army with no 'ball picking' when old enough for 3 years or so ! Might deter some.
