Laos and Kambodja - VISAFREE or not?

Featured Replies

Can I ask you guys, do you know if there is a VISA-free stay, when arriving to Laos and Kambodja, just like it is for Thailand, you know these 30 days free?

Gratefull for your help...

Depends on your country of citizenship. Google "Laos Visa for xxxxx citizen" for the answer. Same for Cambodia

As far as I know you can get a 14 days visa free trip to Laos throughout 2018 as a Swede.. Check out the Swedish foreign ministry website to be sure. :)

I really think a Lao immigration website would be a better source of info.

This page does not show Sweden as one of the countries that qualifies for a visa exempt entry for Laos. http://www.immigration.gov.la/visas.html

It seems that the site you are linking to is not up to date as so many other Thai/Cambodian/Vietnamese/Laos government websites. That is why I always check with the Danish foreign ministry website as they are way better at keeping information updated. And I would think the same is the case with Sweden.. :)
