NCPO has no report of Thaksin and Yingluck planning political activities in Hong Kong

The National Council for Peace and Order has not received any report about fugitive former prime ministers Thaksin and Yingluck Shinawatra planning political activities in Hong Kong, said NCPO spokesman Col Winthai Suwaree on Thursday (Feb 15).

 

The above statement was in response to a claim by Mr Somchai Sawaengkarn, a member of the National Legislative Assembly, that Ms Yingluck planned  to hold a press conference in Hong Kong end of this month or early March as part of their campaign for global pressure on the military regime in Thailand.

 

Col Winthai said that it was the duty of the Foreign Ministry and the Royal Thai Police to pursue the two former prime ministers.

I think your innuendo is too late.

Prayut has already claimed since last year that all anti-government protests (he does not distinguish between his government and human rights protests) must be covertly financed by the PTP. It's just difficult to find a connection.

From Prayut's perspective, one is either for him (as the junta) or against him. There is no other issue such as deprivation of democracy.
