Extinction Event: Dinosaur Planet Closing Down

BANGKOK — Two years after it opened, a dinosaur-themed attraction will close to make way for another mall.

 

A Dinosaur Planet spokeswoman said the attraction, which featured real fossils, animatronic dinos and 3D exhibits will close April 20 to make way for construction of EmSphere, a third mall to join The Mall Group’s Emporium and EmQuartier shopping malls.

Why not just stand out there yourself? ;-))

What an over priced piece of nonsense that was.  Why not extend this area into the Bengasirikit national park and plant trees and stuff.

Oh, it's going to be even more fun trying to catch a BTS train late evening at Prom Phong when the staff from  EmSphere join the other thousands of workers trying to get home.

There used to be a lot of bars there when it was known as Washington Square.
