Nong Khai man arrested while picking marijuana parcel

A man was arrested at a Nong Khai post office when he turned up to pick up a parcel containing 500 grams of marijuana.

 

Thalerngrat Rodma, 21, was arrested at 9am on Friday at the Thabor post office in Tambon Thabor in Nong Khai’s Thabor district.

 

 

When he claimed his parcel, police came out from hiding and asked him to open it and found the drugs inside.

 

He admitted that he had ordered the drugs from a closed Facebook group, called Kancha Chon (People of Marijuana), for Bt4,500 for his own use.

 

Police will attempt to arrest the seller.
