My husband and I will be moving to retire in Chiang Rai very soon. We are thinking about renting a 2 - 3 bedroom house or a 70 something sq. m. condominium in Ampor Mueng Chiang Rai. We already look through Lanna Realty website, but still need some suggestions from any gurus in the forum. 

in my experience, just pick something that looks ok,

and then when you get there, rent a bike,

and then drive around, look around, and ask around, for what looks to be a good fit,

you are sure to find better deal once there and when you know where exactly you want to live
