Getting to Chiang Rai United

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am visiting the city and staying in the south of Chiang Rai.

I would like to watch Chiang Rai United play this evening and wondered if anyone could advise on the best way for me to get there?

I was thinking a songthaew might be cheap but am not sure where I could catch one from, and also whether it is easy to catch one back towards my house at the end of the game?

It'd be great if someone could tell me the cost of a ticket for the game would be also.

Thanks!

Maybe take a meter taxi from town and arrange to be picked up after the game?

The stadium is quite close to the airport so I would envisage taxis driving past it regularly anyway.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I'll walk into the main street and do that then. Any idea how much it might cost to the ground from the Big C?

Any info on ticket prices for the game would also be much appreciated if anyone knows. A translated version of the teams site does not work so well.

I found a site saying the tickets to Thai premier league matches in Bangkok are "around 100B".

If you leave from Big C you could possible negotiate a fare with the tuktuks there.

I've no idea what they would want.
