Model shop

Featured Replies

Does someone know about some plastic model shop in Chiang Mai that have, among other things, Tamiya paint and accessories? Like the on that were at Kad Farang many years ago. Or just paint and stuff for plastic modeling.

Like Hens Teeth in Chiang Mai.   Have you tried Robinsons toy dep't ?     They have a limited number of plastic kits, or did the last time i looked but not sure about paints.   There is also a shop within the Outlet Centre next to Kad Farang that has a better range of Diecast Models than seen elsewhere but not noticed if they have any kits and paints there.

There is a Gundam(?) model shop in Maya that might be worth a try (Baan Gundam I think it is called)

Robinsons removed all their model stuff a long time ago. Now they have nothing.

OP- google Winner hobby and find out how to get there. They have everything you want.

I was going to mention Baan Gundam but they have a very small stock. But yes, they have some stock.

Can't help you with paints and glue but I have a couple hundred aircraft kits. Airfix, Tamiya, Hasegawa, Revell, Monogram etc.mostly 1 :72 scale that I could part with a few. Never going to finish them in my lifetime!
