A library in Phra Nakorn district of Bangkok is proving so popular with Thais and foreigners that it should soon be open every day and later at night.

The library at the Khok Wua intersection is presently open from 8am to 9pm Tuesday to Saturday and 9am to 8pm on Sundays.

BMA representative Wanwila Phromlakkhano said that 1,500 visitors were coming each weekday and 2,000 at the weekend.

The authority are looking at ways to work with the private sector to enable the library to open every day including Mondays and public holidays and to extend opening later into the evening, Wanwila told Daily News.
