Jomtien Immigration Office - Songkran Holidays

Featured Replies

Does any member know which days the Immigration Office will be closed for Songkran?

Do the National Calendar days apply or the special Pattaya area days !!?

Any info would be appreciated.

I have a one hour drive each way to/from the Jomtien Office, and I don't want to go for my 90 day visit and find the place closed.

Kind Regards

official holiday for Songkran is from Thursday 12th to Monday 16th, thus  Immigration will be closed during this time

I believe you can go 2 weeks early and 1 week late.

I wouldn't go till the 20th when all the water madness should have stopped...unless you like the madness.

definitely don't go on the 19th the traffic will be gridlocked.

Why not e mail your 90 day?

I'm intrigued?

I used to do the 90 day online but that now no longer works for some reason, and returns an error message half way through the process.

How does it work by email??

Ah ok, I thought 90 day online was by e mail, had no idea it no longer worked, my apologies

I have been in this morning to do my 90 day report. It was standing room only, but all the same I was in and out in half an hour.

Same here. There were people outside waiting to get in because the front counter was so busy, but once I got my ticket I had about a 15 minute wait to do my report.

What I miss from the OP is the due date!

Would be much easier to discuss.

But as you are concerned about Songkran it's obvious that you are in the 2 week period before the due date.

So: hop on the bike, car, bus, van or whatever ASAP and get yourself to Jomtien before the madness starts.

Doing it by postal mail?

One would also need to know what the due date is.

Might be a bit late for that.

The official holiday is only until the 16th, so 17th should be fine
The office should be open on the 'unofficial' Pattaya days  on  18-19, there should be relatively free of queues providing that you can manage to get through Jomtien Beach road.

There is a sign on their door:

Jomtien Immigration will be closed 12-16 April.
