Agricultural Fairs And Shows

I am interested in attending any agricultural fairs in Korat, Khon Kaen, Surin or Buriram in December 2016 or early 2017. If any forum members have dates or links to fairs please feel free to post them. My wife seems interested in better uses for her land than growing rice or sugar cane. Thank you.

Until 11 Dec 2016 University Fair at Kasetsart University, Kampeang Saen Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province.
Basically selling everything there, but also a lot of interesting things for farmers and gardeners.

Ubon Ratchathani university will hold its annual agricultural fair from February 3 to 13.

I went to the "original" fair in Hannover, Germany. It's really nice

Thailand's  annual  dairy show at Mortlec ,in Saraburi  province,  next to the  friendship highway ,starts 30th January ,until  5th February.

The once yearly agriculture and garden show is being held again at Wat Yansangwararam just outside Pattaya near the Silver lake vineyard.

Being held from 10 - 14 feb from  8 am to 8 pm

 

Large range of Fruit trees and flowering plants from nurseries nationwide plus as its held in the grounds of the agricultural college displays of vegetable growing.

 

I have been for the last few years and make this an annual day out as the temple complex is huge and has many lakes and is a popular place to visit in its own right.

I was really disappointed with the flower and veg/greenhouse display

this year. This was Fri. about 5. The best thing was the chickenshit AQ

set up.

Hello All, cold & windy. They really changed the layout

of the Korat show, I didn't see a map and we headed to

where the greenhouse and flower gardens were in the

the past, not there. Lots of plants/trees for sale.

 

The #1 pic is looking west, I'm standing in the "T" of the

intersection.(I found an old map from a previous show).

#2 is looking E. To my R. in this pic is behind the stands is

where the gardens were in the past. The black arrow.

#3 is an enlargement from #2, my wife paying for 2 yellow

dragon fruit plants, the lady told the wife that they are from

plants from Isarel, they also will be selling  at Ya Mo Festival.

I'm after a 8 FT 3PL roller crimper and a set of closing wheels for double disc opener seed drill.

Bit of a wish list for Thailand but if there available it would be there.
