Spraying insecticide in Hua Hin

Featured Replies

On my street in central Hua Hin a truck comes by every couple of months with no warning and fogs the area with a noxious chemical. Dead beetles indicate that it is an insecticide. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly they are spraying? And is there a schedule that tells residents when this will happen so they can leave? Thanks.

Hello,

In the year 2012, we were warned
when "Terminator" :cowboy:  happening.
It was every week.
Now it happens that from time to time, without warning.
We must rely on the noise.
It is to eliminate mosquitoes.  Finally, they say! :vampire::drunk:

The “fog” targets small insects such as mosquitoes, cockroaches and flies.

I would not say that the fog is 100 per cent safe because it is produced from a chemical compound, but this depends on how you are exposed to it.

If you come into contact with the chemicals emanating from ULV fog machines on Municipality vehicles or the hand-held devices, you will be fine as its density is only enough to effect the respiratory systems of small creatures. The chemical quantities in the fog are too little to harm the human body.
