I have searched ThaiVisa for any recent posts about immigration offices at Central Plaza in Mueang Chiang Rai.  

 

The only posts that I saw are from back in 2012.  

 

Since I've been away from TH for several years, I want to confirm that they still have immigration officials at Central Plaza all day on the first Saturday of each month -- which, this month would be this Saturday.  

I believe that they were discontinued after the opening of the new office near the airport.

Anyone confirm this?

I read elsewhere it's been cancelled since the new office opened in 2014. 

Agree with the other posts , have to go to the new office . Very friendly and helpful , never had a problem there .
