Just watched the new Road Warrior movie, it's streaming now on Veetle in TS quality, if that's acceptable to you.

I would call this MOTS (More of the same) if you know the original Road Warrior series. It's not bad for what it is, tons of action, and fun modified vehicles, but clearly a popcorn muncher only, and no story line to speak of. IMO, not even close to Mel Gibson's originals at all.

Found it to be light and good fun. It's a bit embarrassing, but I even enjoyed the church massacre scene. Most surprisingly: I liked Jack Davenport in his brief scenes. And Samuel L. Jackson was hilarious as the villain. A solid 8/10 from me!

Watched Parrallels yesterday. Was supposed to be a film but when you see the ending it leaves you a bit confused.

Did a bit of research and found out it was a pilot for a show but the network didn't run with it. Had potential!

While researching found a older show by the same writer called "The Lost Room".

6 part series. I'm hooked!

Been watching Forever too. A immortal who is a pathologist helps the NYPD solve crimes much like elementary. I enjoyed it and suprised it has not been renewed.

I think if the networks are gonna cancel shows they should do a one off special to rap things up.

Just found that NBC released the entire season 1, ep1-ep13. Was wondering why a series that was just started May 28 there were so many episodes already.

A number of shows are releasing all the episodes all at once. Now I am looking forward to the next batch of Orange is the New Black.

And Devious Maids starts again this week.

I noticed The Last Ship is finally coming out for season 2 on June 21. Not 100% sure as s02e1 has no plot shown for it yet. That was a long break since last episode on August last year. Rumors was since they were filming on real US Navy ships they had to wait for it to become available again.

I know it is loosely based on Manson and his exploits, but, I wonder actually how close it is to the real deal e.g if the lawyer thing actually happened, then <deleted> me, Manson surely goes to top of the "Top Psychopath's of our time" list...

That was a decent episode. Good to see some action. The twist at the end of episode 7 was also good.

Silicon Valley Season 2

This continues to be the only series that makes me laugh like a hyena. The new characters have really added a lot to the mix:

Russ Hanneman, the Money Guy, the self-absorbed "Three Comma" Guy. Takes the concept of All-Around A--Hole to new heights.

Laurie Bream, severely uptight, perhaps autistic Venture Capitalist. People have trashed her on IMDB, but I think she's hilarious.

Jian Yang: the interplay between this character and the supercilious, ever-stoned Bachman are comedy gold.

And the regulars are all in top form: Gilfoyle, Dinesh, Jared, Erlich, and of course Richard.

Glad to see that this season has ten episodes instead of only eight.

10/10, with "lossless compression."
