Yeah, I agree, that most countries have much of the same, but that´s just a fact word wide. What I was initially reacting on was people who posted that it´s just Mom & Pop shops, 7Elevens and Soi dogs. I was also reacting on people that just waiting for the next day at the beach and the beers. It´s very narrow thinking. There are a lot to see in Thailand, and great variation too. Sure, after a while you´ve seen it, and it´s not so much urge to go look for more. But, as you say, when that sets in, then there are always places you want to re-visit. On the other, after more than 28 years, travelling a lot, I still occasionally find new places as well. One of the greatest things is if you find a place not so far away in rural Thailand, that you never saw or thought of before. As you also say, that´s my thoughts.
