SMART TV - SPLIT SCREEN

I just returned from Ho Chi Minh City, my MBA students tell me SMART tv's are selling like hot cakes and 65" inch models are available from good brands at bargain prices.

 

The point - several students mentioned they have just recently bought 65 inch models and they are already set up so you can watch TV on one half of the screen and use the other half to do your e-mail / google search etc. They was also mention that it's easy enough to watch 2 different TV channels at the same time.

 

My knowledge of this whole subject is zero.

 

My question: Is this already available on all SMART tv's / monitors?

Cheapest around 34,000bht, not sure that's a bargain. (LG or Samsung)

Is split screen a standard feature on SMART monitors, or easy to set up?

Two channels on one screen and then you stop and say errr where shall I put the sound.

 

Why not buy two half size and really rock and roll.
