I received the attached letter from Processing Center, P.O. Box 141578, Austin, TX 78714, addressed to me personally at my correct address,

 

I never had any business with this Processing Center. A web search for the P.O. box address seems to indicate that it is a scam. However, as the letter does not ask me to provide any personal information I wonder how they expect to profit from sending me this letter. Perhaps this will come in a second letter.

 

Was there another attachment for a free identity alert/credit check service?

 

This letter seem to have been popping up for about 3 years - from different 'businesses', but all with the same PO box.

 

 

I received the letter by postal mail and it was the only thing in the envelope.
