Farang Marriage Training Clinic Coming to Isaan

BANGKOK — Got questions about your farang? Good news: The government announced Friday it may open a pilot learning center in Khon Kaen province for Thai women marrying foreign men.

 

After visiting Germany to meet a network of Thai women in Europe, a top social welfare official said the idea is being considered based on numerous complaints and inquiries regarding the well-being of Thai women who move abroad to live with foreign husbands.

just today i was in Bangkok Bank and a 60 something year old Farang who was unshaven and looked like he had a serious drinking problem was opening an account with his 25 year old Thai girlfriend.

 

The two female bank employees were looking at her with real contempt. I heard him say "We really need to find where that other money went." "What account was that?" And joking asked a lot of questions about the new account he should already know the answer to. His girlfriend was doing the translation even though the woman spoke English at the bank. Finally the manager handed him a piece of paper to read so he would know the proper answers.

 

anyway his girlfriend was hot.

If it is about preparing the woman to accept another culture, learn not to be so demanding, if going abroad to stay away from Thai golddiggers and "social workers", not to see the farang as a financial supplier for the family, etc,etc, go ahead.

But I am afraid it will be more to frighten 60+% of Isan women away from farang.

Too many complaints from Thai men they are not wanted any more....

There's no such thing. They'll have to go through hell without the chance of coming back, eat bugs on daily basis surrounded by the incredible smell of Somtham Lao style with 3,000-year-old fermented fish sauce. ?

Don't feel sorry for this guy because at least he is being ripped off by a 25 year old "hot" girlfriend. The real tragedy is the amount of guys that lose their money to ugly middle aged fatties. ?

The guy is 60 years old and has a hot 25 year old girlfriend, he probably knows the score unlike some on here who genuinely seemy to think that their much younger wife/girlfriend are with them because they are so "hansum" lol
