As a Brit, Thailand used to be cheaper, the eye candy used to be slimmer.

 

Noticed some things are sliding to convergence pretty much since I first observed (not that I'm statistically much different either I hasten to add).

Attractiveness for me is not just looks. I like slim females. They don't have to be pretty or classical beauties. The smile should convey humanity, honesty and to a degree, innocence. My wife is Thai and I see a quality in her smile that I never tire of. She is feminine. When I think 'Aussie girls', I think fat, loud, brash and uncouth.  Each to their own, I suppose.

I was here and in Japan in 1963, and I much preferred the Japanese women back then. But now the Japanese are more westernized and lost a lot of their allure for me. I find Thai women quite beautiful, but nobody seems to mention how funny they can be. I find their humour amazing and they can be quite hilarious....my lady has me laughing most days, and at a minimum smiling a lot. I didn't get much of that in the old country wherever that was.
