Karts vary widely in speed and some (known as Superkarts) can reach speeds exceeding 260 kilometres per hour (160 mph)

When I was a lad. Super Karts were 250 gearbox, front brakes etc..

Other one is the 498 " 100 " with a JAP lump .. This bike holds a particular record .. Sherbert dip to the first one to get it ..

Bill Lacey, the man who later prepared Mike Hailwood's legendary Manx Norton in the 50s, set a number of 500cc records on the bike, including being the first man to cover 100 miles in an hour on a British track, and culminating with a world record average speed of 105.9mph over a 60 minute run in 1929.  Six replicas were produced for public sale, and each one came with a certificate guaranteeing that Lacey had personally lapped Brooklands at 100mph on that bike.  It's thought that only two survive.  Imagine finding one, with the certificate still intact.

Thank god for that.  I thought you were going to put on a pair of flares and sing 'Howzat' to me.
