Zero images of the mytical sub in Thailand. Would'nt be practicable even if it did exist. Too many tight spaces, difficult turns. Just an American whack job trying to get publicity for his failing company.

You don't like the mini-sub?

He's leaving it here, so maybe the Thais can adapt it for space flight. Let the great divers carry on their brave, selfless task. All out soon.

For all the haters etc, yes I agree its too late. He should have done it earlier. However what about other billionaires like Bill Gates, Tim Cook,  Warren B, Paul Allen, Richard Branson etc.? Nobody ever tried to help or step-in from that group of people. Musk may have been late, but he tried and done what he could. So props to him for that.

EM got a straight forward question if he could help, not by the Thai authorities but someone else, and he answered Yes. The other ones you mentioned might not have been asked. What Thailand lacked was experience and equipment, not money.

Who asked him? The spirit in the sky?

CHIANG RAI, 10th July 2018 (NNT) – Founder of Space X Elon Musk has personally delivered a mini-submarine to Tham Luang Cave so that it may be used if needed to help the remaining members of Moo Pa Academy youth football team who became trapped in the cave on June 23.

Famed Space X and Tesla founder Elon Musk has posted a video clip to his personal Instagram account after announcing he would offer help in the rescue of young members of the the Moo Pa Academy youth football team. The clip posted to @elonmusk is 28 seconds long and shows the CEO personally surveying Tham Luang Cave and assessing its water level.

On his Twitter account, the tech pioneer posted “Just returned from Cave 3. Mini-sub is ready if needed. It is made of rocket parts & named Wild Boar after kids’ soccer team. Leaving it here in case it may be useful in the future. Thailand is so beautiful”.

The message has already drawn an outpouring of appreciation from the wider public towards the inventor’s compassion.

Yes, leave it there for future use if needed.

When the last kid is out seal the cave, bar it off, and leave tanks everything where they are inside.

Make it secure and go back in the dry season to get all the stuff out.

The kids are important, forget the equipment.
