I'm with you and at the same maybe you can work on your sentence structure so people can understand what the hell you are talking about.

I for one didn't have any trouble understanding the theme of the discussion and the delivery, and it would seem neither did you.

Plus, wouldn't rave about your post - missing word, in written language it should be I am, not I'm - this is

without getting too technical.

Don't even go there considering the structure of your sentence above. In Informal style, contractions are perfectly excepted but total lack of regard for structure as demonstrated in your post is not.

world cup final would have been the hollywood ending but i doubt i'd want to be stuck in a plane for the first time after such an ordeal. but for young footie kids like that. they'd be running to the plane i reckon.

Imagine the buzz around the whole world to see the Wild Boar team out on the pitch before the ‘Big Game’
Sensational!

Absolutely. It's a pity that D. Trump and his fellow Americans don't see it that way.

What does Donald Trump have to do with this ?  To quote Trump:  "On behalf of the United States, congratulations to the Thai Navy Seals and all on the successful rescue of the 12 boys and their coach from the treacherous cave in Thailand. Such a beautiful moment - all freed, great job! "  You have a problem with that?

Great job by all but Australia isn't part of Britain anymore, they included the Australian doctor/diver in the British group.  Well done to everyone involved

I think it’s like a ‘sub-branch of’

I wasn't trying to be formal, and I wasn't interested in picking  fault with a posters comment.

I cannot imagine what it must have been like for the families of the kids and the coach trapped, or what hell the boys themselves went through, especially before they were found, wondering if they were going to die in the dark, hungry, cold and afraid.

Today is a day of celebration, in the unity of mankind from many nations who have assisted in this amazing escape from death. Still, there is tragedy, as in the very sad demise of former SEAL diver Samarn Kunan. I hope his family can find solace in knowing he died a hero.

A memorial to his bravery and the rest of those who went where most of us would be way too scared to go, should be set up at the site, so he can be remembered always.

And the little wild boars? Congratulations on being given a second lease of life. I hope they will all appreciate the huge effort that went into finding and then rescuing them and take that new life opportunity with both hands, and go on to be the best people that they can be and never forget what it is to be there for others in need. Hooyah!

Well stated! Thank you for pointing out there were many heroes involved in this operation from Thailand and all around the world. Those wild boars deserve a lot of credit for staying strong at such a young age and never giving up.

A great wrap up for events so far, but this story is not over until they are home with their families and well integrated back into their communities.

The need to keep them in hospital for a week or so has been announced already, this might help to avoid a much more awkward conversation as to why it would be impossible for them to go right now. Namely that several of the kids are from hilltribes without even citizenship, let alone passports (which it's unlikely even the Thai boys would have).

Nothing is impossible. Don't forget Prayut has his section 44 he can invoke and get everything done immediately no questions asked

I think it means Donald Trump tried to steel the credit of the "real" rescuers. But the attempt failed!

Look here, I would not bring this up accept for the fact 3/4 of your posts slam the USA and it's President. Until Canada starts paying it's fair share towards NATO (currently pays 50% of what it pledged) best you put a cork in it. If not for blood spent by US soldiers you and most of your citizens would be speaking German. Not good to slap the watch dog that provides you 7/24/365 security. Excuse me for straying from the thread but this poster needs to be called out.

with all the different stories running , only just came across this -- brilliant, the best one for a long long while.

Just been a short clip on BBC news, was filmed by a Thai Navy Seal, showed one of the lads been moved through the tunnel complex, encased in a stretcher and was apparently heavily sedated.

Strange how it was Western nations that came to help for Thailand and not China or Russia.

Will Thailand remember that when they are jumping to the tune of Chinese and Russian demands ?

I think it's time for the Thai media to pack up and jump on a plane down to Phuket where nearly 50 people are dead and the search is on for more still missing.i can't believe that so much attention has been given to this cave rescue and the real disaster has taken 2nd place.yes it's great news that they were all rescued but lets not forget this massacre of people including many children.

Your as predictable as a child and a classic troll.

They arrived back in the UK this morning (UK time). Seemed a bit embarrassed by all the attention. One of the team stated they were not heroes, just posses a 'unique skill set.' Said they were going back at some time to meet the boys.
