Could top UK model be fined for obscenity after showing off her assets in Thailand?

Top UK model Katie Price - formerly known as Jordan - could be in hot water after she was pictured topless on a Thai beach.

 

Britain's The Sun reported that she had bared her "impressive body" in Thailand where she was holidaying with her "toyboy" Kris Boyson following a divorce from her philandering husband.

 

But under Thailand's laws the publicity obsessed ex-glamor model could be in trouble.

 

Section 388 of the criminal code on public obscenity states:

 

"Any person who performs such a disgraceful act in public by undressing himself, exhibiting his undressed person or committing any other act of obscenity shall be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred baht". 

 

However, even if Ms Price is still in Thailand and the cops do get their hands on her she is unlikely to be worried by the 500 baht fine that amounts to £12 in money from her homeland.

 

Wikipedia puts the Brighton born mother of five's net worth at £40 million.

 

The Sun did not report where or exactly when Ms Price was photographed.

 

Pictures showed her being attended to by beach vendors.

Extraordinary.  Do my eyes deceive or does this not say, "Any person..." then later states, "...himself,...", and, "...his..."?  If so, how can a person of the female gender be included in this paradox, i.e. absurdity.  Sexes in this report show that they are exclusively different, because the article begins, "Any person...."  Does Thai law not differentiate between the two.  What if a Thai "lady-boy", for want of another term, did the same?  Would that person be charged the same and fined in the manner or would the punishment be less?  Just curious.

 

After all that plastic surgery, she needs to be fined!
