Testicular cancer check up

Featured Replies

Go to one of the large well known hospitals, Samitivej, Bumrungrad, BNH any of the BDMS group. Some of the very large Thai ones would be good to, but the above probably more catered to farangs. Don't mess around with your help, get the best medical care you can. A check up and scan would probably not cost more than 5,000 baht.

You might want to post at the Health forum as well. I've found really knowledgeable people lurking there.

Where to go to check for testicular cancer in bangkok? Thx in advance guys

You need to ask for an ultrasound of your testicles asap , do not listen to Thai doctors who thinks it is an infection and just give you antibiotics.

I speak of experience, a doctor from one of the best hospitals in Bangkok misdiagnosed me and told me it was an infection.  But I knew something was wrong with me since I had lost weight too.

I went back to my home country and the first thing the doctor did was to check with ultrasound. They discovered stage 1 testis cancer. If I had listened to the Thai doctor it would have progressed too a more serious condition for me.

Still today I am shocked that a reputable hospital with a well known urologist  did not use ultrasound on my first visit.   Testis cancer among Thais are rare so they don't know much about it.

I can name and shame them too . It was Samitivej Sukhumvit hospital . The urologist name I forgot , I wont even bother to look for his name.
