I know that these can be done at the Land Transport office and the roadworthy centres. My bike is 1 year old and needs renewal of insurance and license. Does anyone know if it can be done at a 7-11?

If by license you mean "tax" then yes, it can both be done in 7/11. But you need a Thai person with Thai id card with you because they need to put the ID card in their smartcard reader (can be any person)

OK. Thanks for that. Easier to go to the roadworthy centre

Like your ‘joke’ name for the place. Quite apt.

Or presumably a foreigner with a yellow book or pink ID card

Please inform us how 1 would get the tax sticker, because I'm sure that it won't be issued at the 7/11 store. Does one still need to go to LTD to get it??

The yellow book or pink ID card can not be read with their smartcard reader, so probably not.

You have to write down your address on some paper and then you will retrieve the tax sticker by mail
