properperson Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 When i try to click the wifi switch over to the right, it just moves back to the left.... Any ideas to get the wifi to turn (and remain !) on .?? TIA
Farangwithaplan Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Go to Device Manger. If you can't find it, go to the windows icon on the left bottom of the screen and click on the windows icon and type "device manager" Then look here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4000460/windows-10-check-wi-fi-drivers-settings 1
OneMoreFarang Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Some notebooks have keyboard switches for WiFi which are confusing. I remember I had a problem with a notebook with WiFi. There was an LED for WiFi and it was on - fine. After lots of troubleshooting I found out that I had to switch on the WiFi on the keyboard. The ON LED which I saw was red. That meant it was OFF. For ON the LED must be blue (on that notebook). Maybe you have a similar issue.
chrisinth Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 What is the model and make of your laptop? Don't think this is a W10 problem, but you could check the drivers. With W10, right click on the start button and click Device Manager. Make sure there are no marks beside Network Adapters. 2
