I left HuaHin in May this year and have now returned for six months. When I left I was following with interest two news items.

The first being the activities of the leading member of the Government who had an amazing collection of expensive watches that had been “ lent” to him. And secondly the construction tycoon that went hunting black leopards and other game in the National Park.

Can anyone fill me in on the progress to date on both cases. Thanks.

No problem, Feltchenfrance-

I'm sure it's only hearsay, but I heard that...

The construction tycoon spotted  a renegade herd of black leopards; several of whom were actually wearing expensive watches (they later stated that they were only borrowed). They were chasing the member of the government, who they thought was in possession of even more of the collection. Then, the National Park caught wind of the situation & stepped in to confiscate the entire lot of expensive watches, which, after close inspection, were deemed to be 99.72% fraudulent... and so they were subsequently destroyed.

The construction tycoon has since become a vegetarian and the member of the government as well as the entire herd of black leopards... have absolutely no idea what time it is.

As I suspected. No sign of any Black Leopards here in Koh Takiab, must have scoffed the lot. Plenty of expensive looking “ tickers” in AirSpace though.
