The Duchess of Sussex is pregnant, Kensington Palace has announced.

 

A spokesman said: "Their Royal Highnesses are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in Spring 2019.

 

"Their Royal Highnessws very much appreciate all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share their happy news.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, wife of Queen Elizabeth's grandson Prince Harry, is pregnant, Kensington Palace said on Monday.

 

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019," the palace said in a statement.

 

The couple married in May and are currently in Australia on their first overseas tour.

Knew it would not take them long, Harry is great with kids and you know it is probably the thing he wants most.

 

Presume the announcement had to be made before the speculation started as I assume that some activities she was to participate in have been curtailed, so no bungee jumping...

 

Also hotels are not like palaces where things like morning sickness can be hushed up.

There are much worse things going on in the world, that could affect your lives daily (hike of fuel, geo political tensions etc)....so really who cares if some state-funded couple ends up with the wife getting h*um*ped  ?
