90 Day Reporting Time Frame

Featured Replies

For those that may be lnterested,

I visited Chaiyaphum Immigration today to file my 90 Day Report 6 days prior to the Due Date

which is on 22/10 /2018,and was told l will get 90 days from todays date, l asked if it was possible to report early

and get the 90 days from the due date , the officer said no ,l then asked can l do the 90 day report online

and was told cant do at this office , 2 officers agreed about the matter, so lost a week by the looks of it .

any points of view appreciated , Thanks.

It does not matter if you mail it, do it online or report in person,  they will start the new 90 days from the date you do the report.

Some offices do not do (accept) online reports, yours seem to be one of them judging by the officers comments.

The new 90 days always starts from the date you do the report at the majority of immigration offices. It does not matter if you report early or within the 7 days after allowance.

If you report early, which you did, they usually issue you with a receipt asking you to report again in 90 days time.

IMO they are wrong — based on the written law — to do so, but it seems to be the standard practice.
