cataract surgery

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any experience with cataract surgery ??? I am trying to determine if i should have the surgery done here  or in the U.S. If done here where are some of the better eye surgeons and the approximate cost ??? Thanks for your help

Many, many TV members have had cataract surgery done here and there have been numerous past threads about it. Do a search in google for "cataract + site:thaivisa.com". These include price info which varies greatly by hospital and also type of lens.

Do you need surgery now?  If not causing issues it is normally just tracked until it does and then operation done.  As said many of us have had done here and hospitals will be open in giving a price before doing.  As mentioned the type of lens can make quite a difference - the normal single vision being much cheaper but may require reading glasses (or one close/far combination).  The multi focal lens are much more expensive,

Thank you all for your posts. I will research it on Thaivisa. I had an eye test done several months ago in the US. The problem is I can't drive at night. All the lites coming towards me look like 4 crystals. My eye Dr. told me i don't need the surgery immediately but if it bothers me i should consider it, Thanks again
