Chaing Mai "Red Bus" driver "Uncle Noi" bucks the bad image trend

 

 

The Red Bus song thaews of Chiang Mai have come in for some bad press recently, reported Manager. 

 

But one of their drivers continues to buck the trend. 

 

He is Wattana Janthaphoon, 65, who is otherwise known to the local community as "Lung Noi" - Uncle Noi.

 

Uncle Noi has been a driver for more than 30 years but he offers free rides not only to monks and novices but to school and university students in uniform, the handicapped and the elderly. 

 

He said he is not rich but just wants to help people as it makes him feel good.

Good for him.

Unfortunately, he cannot make up for the others bad behaviour.

Why pass up the opportunity of a negative comment when it presents itself, even on a feelgood story, eh?

So whats the price for farang that cant work on a tourist visa?
