Great place to stay

Featured Replies

This is my 1st time in Chiang Mai and found a really nice place to stay, thought it might help others looking for a room in Chiang Mai.

DD Smile House, Nong Hoi is an excellent place to stay, just outside the city but within easy reach, grab taxi is about £1 to the old city.

Excellent facilities and comfortable home, this gives you the opportunity to experience a real Thai home rather than a hotel room. Great friendly host who was always willing to help.

I found DD Smile House on airbnb and found it to be great value.

Thanks, I have a mate looking for a place in Nong Hoi.

He plays the electric guitar .....very badly, but it sounds ok when its drowned out by the electric piano his girlfriend has......

Do you see where I am going with this?

Tip, if you really enjoy your condo, the local restaurant, the best grab taxi driver around, keep it to yourself before you regret it.

The good news is, most tv members already have their own place and are highly unlikely to take you up on your recommendation

Great story, if it's story time....

I met a woman a few years ago that was walking along the path by the road, there were other people on the path too.............

See where this is going?...  (To the elephant sanctuary but someone as clever as you would have known that)

Tip, If you want people to use the site then having some helpful information would be a start, when i was booking my trip i stumbled across ThaiVisa and thought it would give me some good information, unfortunately all i found was moaning and sarcasm. So i thought i would try to help others who found themselves here looking for information.

What's their policy on 'joiners'?

I think they accept bookings from joiners, plumbers, electricians or any tradesmen.

They even take bookings from white collar workers so you shouldn't feel ostracised if woodworking is your profession.

I don't even think job type is a question on the A***nb booking form so they would never know BritManToo.

If that's your thing you should be proud to be a joiner.

I hope the same as "leavers" as the OP should be, given his response to you.
