MrBrad Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Just a word concerning the area where the accident occurred. This was on the west river road about 1½ kilometers north of the super highway (Highway 11). The car driver was headed south toward town and the motorcyclist was wanting to go west. For clarification, it was not on a city soi. For some reason, the roads abutting the river do become raceways most of the time. The exact site of the accident is more-or-less built up, more on the west side than on the river side. The law probably reads that passing in an intersection is illegal. If it doesn't, it should. Of course, if there is such a law, it's ignored, just like so many other laws. 1
BurgerGung Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I've been overtaken despite indicators flashing for a looong time. They kill to gain 1 or 2 seconds. An uninsured motorist caused an accident, with me having a broken finger. The Police made him pay for the xray and a few days' pills. Next. Thailand needs to get tough. No license or insurance? Draconian consequences. Treat them like foreign overstayers 555 1
