Chiang Mai residents warned: Pay your traffic fines or face court!

Chiang Mai News reported that people in the northern Thai province of Chiang Mai have been warned to pay their traffic fines or face a day in court. 

 

Pol Col Suwat Kaewduangto of the provincial police said that there were many outstanding fines on the books. 

 

After the initial fine is sent one more reminder will be posted. 

 

But if that is not heeded within 30 days the police may refer the matter to court.
