Well I went back to Ohio
But my family was gone
I stood on the back porch
There was nobody home
I was stunned and amazed
My childhood memories
Slowly swirled past
Like the wind through the trees
A, o, oh way to go Ohio

John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers on Mists Of Time from the 2002 Stories release.  This guy must have lived a previous life on a southern plantation.

Stevie Ray Vaughan performing Tin Pan Alley on Sept. 21, 1985 at the Capitol Theatre.  The song got truncated (never owned an 8-track in my life for that reason) so gotta post the entire concert instead.

Well, Tin Pan Alley is the last song and it's cut short here, too, but at least they faded it.

Long John Baldry performing Shake That Thing off of his '93 On Stage Tonight - Baldry's Out! LP.  Volume is a bit subdued with the live vid so you'll have to kick up the volume a bit.

Man, nobody does drum solos anymore.  What a shame.

I posted this over at that other thread but since it seems most are too lazy to post there (so much great music ya'll are missing out on) I thought this rare live version was deserving enough to post here as well so that no one misses it.

Here's a sweet gem . . . David Gilmour & Jeff Beck performing Jerusalem together live at the Royal Albert Hall, 4th July 2009.

BTW, where the 'ell is everyone this weekend.  Am I the only sucker to stay home or what?  Only caught a fleeting glimpse of bannork, but that's it.

Jeff Beck playing Santo & Johnny's immortal Apache & Sleepwalk.  As someone pointed out in the comments section, "Santo and Johnny used a lap steel on their recording to get that unique sound.  Beck manages it from a 6 string Strat with not even a slide.  Incredible musician.  Masterful."

If she can belt out a song like that, talahtnut, imagine her beltin' out a profanity laced tirade when she's infuriated with ya 'cause, by God, it would literally feel like ya got whipped with a belt.  Nah.  I prefer my wife kick the dog when she's angry.  Painless.

Tina Turner can belt it outta the ballpark.

Elton John performing Tiny Dancer live in Hyde Park September 11, 2016.  Such a sweet, beautiful song.
