If You'Re Listening To Music Now... Whats Playing? (2018)

Emerson, Lake & Palmer with Still You Turn Me On off of their '73 Brain Salad Surgery LP.

My wife just let me in on a common farang joke circulated amongst Thais.  If you needed to purchase a brain and had a choice between a Thai brain and a farang brain which would set you back the most?  I'll give folks time to answer correctly.

Well, I guess everyone was stumped so here's the punch line everybody's been waiting for with bated breath.

A Thai brain is more expensive brain than a farang brain.  You see, a farang brain has been used a lot; overly used and so has lost valued like too much mileage on a vehicle.  A Thai brain on the other hand is rarely used so it'll last you much longer.

O.K., har, har, har.  I did think it funny that Thai's would openly and proudly admit that they don't use their brains too much.

Anyway, back to deadly seriousness and this thread's topic.  My jokes may not be good but the music I post is.  That's right, ain't it?

Funkadelic's Maggot Brain released in '71 from the album of same name.  A nice, free-stylin' guitar jam.

Tippers, that’s a thumbs up for the music, not the jokes !!

There’s a Worst Joke Ever thread, I think you would be an asset !! [emoji51]

Keep on truckin’ with the music though [emoji4]

I will take your most excellent advice and heed it as gospel, Andrew.  :jap:

Soledad Brothers with Gospel According to John Andrew off of their 2000 eponymous release.  This is classic drivin' music.  I could eat up 900 miles of pavement in 10 hours listening to this kind of music.  (With a doobie every 100 miles or so.)

I liked that, very George Thorogood feel to it.

Interesting name choice:
