Bredbury Blue
City players who featured in the 2018 World Cup have been absent through injury for almost five times as long as Liverpool players this season. A study from JLT Specialty has shown that City players who played in this summer's World Cup have suffered 27 separate injuries this season. The World Cup final was held less than a month before the Premier League season resumed, giving players little time to recover before pre-season training began. City sent a record 16 players to the tournament in Russia, more than any club in the tournament's history. A combined 617 days has been lost in training and matches by World Cup players The research shows Liverpool have suffered just 12 injuries to World Cup players, losing just 128 days of training and matches. When total squads are compared, Liverpool have suffered 35 injuries and have lost 709 days. City have lost 870 days from the wider squad. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-liverpool-injuries-title-15796789

Bredbury Blue
Second-guessing Pep is always difficult. Bet nobody saw Zinchenko making a return - Zinchenko and Delph haven't worked out well for us this season. The other decision was 2 from David Silva, kdb and Gundogan but Silva hasn't been at it recently so i can see why he's benched. This is going to be so tough. Fearing the worst today.
