Just read your last 26 games form, 13 Losses in there.

Are you in a side competition with United??

Any of you lads on the Poh out team yet?

Read below what I wrote a month ago, and I'm still unsure

what Poch is trying to achieve with his comments in some of

his press conferences.

It all started back in April when he was saying he'll leave after

the UCL Final, win or lose, which I thought was a crazy thing to say.

Then all the talk about his unsettled squad since July and you have to question his motives.

How are his players gonna respond when he keeps telling them

that they're unsettled?

What is he trying to prove and to who? or is he sulking cos

some of the players won't renew their contracts and have lost

the belief in him?

I think he'll need to write this season off and wait for the unsettled players to leave and start a clean slate next season.

If you listen to Poch's

press conference, his latest comments are that this is the most

unsettled squad in his time at the club.

Even before the season started he's comments have been shrouding

the club in a cloud of negativity, and you have to ask yourself, is

he looking for a way out of the club, I'm starting to think this

could be the beginning of the end for Poch at Spurs.

His comments of late, are definitely not what Spurs fans or the players would be wanting to hear, so why is he doing it?

Yeah if he's got any designs on himself working elsewhere, he should have cut his losses and left, had a break from the game rather than continue on like this. It doesn't do him any favours for the future or Spurs now.

Does the fact 2 jobs he might have coveted and expected to get a crack at were swiftly taken off the table last season...

No, it's both of them, replacing Zidane @ RM and

replacing OGS @ Man Utd is just a continuation from

last year and the year before that and the year before etc etc...

The 2 biggest clubs in world football are continually being

linked with a manager who is continually being criticised for never winning anything?

Can he succeed where Mourinho failed at Man Utd?

Can he manage all the superstars at RM when he's moaning

about a couple of Spurs players not signing new contracts

and causing an unsettled squad?

A part of me actually wants him to go, just to end all this

speculation, cos he is partly causing the speculation himself

as it's not going to end at any time either until he does eventually leave.

As much as i rate Poch, and what he's done at Spurs, there's

a point where enough is enough, and the fans will start to

turn on him with the way he's been managing since Jan this

year.

To be fair to Poch, he seems to like everyone pulling in the same direction / a good team spirit and a few players who he perhaps felt were detrimental to this are still at the club which is probably no fault of his own and is perhaps another reason he is <deleted> off.

Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham need time to rebuild squad harmony
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49820240

Reading some of at the quotes at the end of this article it seems there are others who agree with you while some are calling the players out. The team you had on the pitch at the end should have wiped the floor with them. 4 shots on target the whole game.

"We need time again to build that togetherness that you need when you are competing at this level," he said.......what League 2 level?

He talks about players with different agendas. All doesn’t sound well. That naughty bench is gonna be busy.

So only the FA Cup left to play for then lads and a shot at 3rd or 4th again (not so sure about the latter based on 2019 PL form).

Poch in recent months really does remind of Mourinho at the end of his 2nd Chelsea stint and end of his ManU stint, constantly moaning and criticizing, interpreted by some of the Mourinho-haters on TV forum as him agitating as a way to get out. You've had the core of your team together for some time now and it's gone over the peak and is on the downslope. I think Poch knows that, is frustrated that he can't buy like some of his rivals in England and Europe and is wondering should he stick and rebuild under Levy, who I reckon he can't stand, or to move on and have a go at a bigger fish. If he's offered a way out now to a top ranked club I reckon he would take it. It must hurt him that he's never won a trophy as a manager and doesn't seem likely to at Spurs.

I did not watch that cup game , just forget it .

I don't know whats happening with the club, all I know is that we need to keep Poch , if we want to have a chance for top 4. And win at home on Saturday to calm some people.

The same was said after the Loss to N/castle where we

drew at Arsenal and beat C/Palace convincingly only to then

draw and lose the following 2 games.

It's one step forward and two steps back atm.

As for Poch, this is the first time in his 6 yrs at Spurs where

performances & results are below the standard.

This is the time for him to step up and show how good a manager he really is by getting the team back to winning

games consistently.

When things are going wrong, good managers turn things

around, poor managers end up walking, so this period of his

career will probably be one of his toughest.

So far, since January he's failing to achieve that, and the

pressure will just keep rising, from the fans and the media.

I seem to recall at one stage last season i had to come on here and calm everyone down and explain that everything would turn out ok, well it seems to be that stage again, players being unhappy, players being injured, players not getting sold have all construed to make Poch miserable and pretty downbeat especially at his press conferences so after yesterdays presser lets hope things are on the up, for all the doom and gloom we haven't lost a game a game by more than one goal, we've drawn away with the <deleted> and City without even playing well and are still sitting at 7th in the league above Utd and the chavs.

Nearly a full squad to choose from tomorrow which is a bonus, expect to see us go on a bit of a run to relieve the doom and gloom and the thus reduce the number of posters coming on here to have a pop.

One team change i would make is to bring Dier back, the amount of goal's we are conceding especially away from home ses we need to change something defensively, Dier (DM) with his aggression, nous and leadership might add some solidity.

Yeah Alfie,

Agree with Dier's inclusion, only if he can return the form

he had 3 seasons ago when he was used as a

DM, and when our FB's pushed up, he would drop back into

a back 3 inbetween Toby & Jan.

I recall we had the best defensive record in the league

playing that system, Poch still has nearly all the players

that he had back then, apart from the RB spot.

So he can use it, but  i don't think Poch can trust Dier or Wanyama atm for the EPL matches due to their lack of

playing time and injuries of late.

Bit of a catch 22 as obviously to get playing time they need to play, perhaps Dier can get up to speed playing in the next few easier PL games we have and hopefully won't be too detrimental to the team.

Blimey sign of the times when the positive is not how many you have won by but how many you haven't lost by more than one goal.

Things must be more Dier than everyone thought.

Moussa Sissoko signs a new contract t'll 2023

Pleased for him to have turned things around from when he

first arrived.

On his day he's a brutally physical player that not many can

match and he's got some engine in him as well.

But what else? I admit he has improved but I still can't see his apparent value to Spurs.

Cracking 2nd goal. Quality showed. In a strange way the sending off helped you and hindered them as they had no idea - Soton could have played all week but never looked like breaking you down. Lloris brainfart again.

Seems to happen a lot with teams who play against 10. You would think they train for those situations as much as the defensive team would but seems Soton went the other way in terms of threat.

I read their manager blaming the subs for giving the team less energy.

Had a good game yesterday especially as standin rightback. He's competitive and puts a shift in. Remember the flak he used to get on here from one Spurs fan.
