7 Day Extension on Visa Excempt Stamp?

Hi Guys, I'm picking up my new passport( UK) today but visa expires Tuesday, immigration is closed today so i can't get it transfered untill Tuesday but i also can't do a border run untill Wednesday ..

 

I'm on a Visa excemption stamp at the airport, already got a 30 day extension on it, am i able to get a 7 day extension on Tuesday when i transfer the stamp over?

You don’t need to transfer the stamp.

 

If you applied for another extension it would be denied and you’d be given 7 days to leave the country. It would cost you 1,900 baht.

 

It would be best to just leave on Wednesday and pay the 500 baht overstay fine. Just show both passports when you exit. The IO will do the necessary and stamp you out in the new passport.

If you believe you must get stamps transferred before a border bounce (and that is the reason for not going to the border tomorrow) you misunderstand the rules. With a simple visa exempt stamp, you can go to the border with both passports, and immigration at the border will handle the stamp transfer.
