Quick thinking action by three Thai Aiways aircrew and four nurses helped save the life of a tourist at Ban Chang in Rayong at the weekend.

The tourist was playing with his children by a pool at a hotel when he slipped, banged his head on the pool's edge and fell unconscious into the water.

His wife screamed for help.

On hand were the three aircrew who worked with the nurses attached to Sri Nakharin Wirot university in giving CPR to the tourist.

He was revived and taken to Somdej Pranang Chao Sirikit Hospital.

He survived the ordeal.

The Thai crew were in town for the "Thai Airways Half-Marathon @ Ban Chang" event.

Sanook reported that the whole drama was over before breakfast time.

The video and story was posted by a Rangsit University official called Chatchai Khumtaveeporn who praised the work of the aircrew.

Tarl Lerdsamran also praised the contribution of the four nurses in helping to save the man's life.

Neither his name nor nationality was not reported.
