Good point Ed. If men would treat women with respect and dignity in all counties I suspect things would be far better for them. Possibly it's just a male reaction to just want to "take care" of a woman thus spending extravagantly on her to the point she expects it. I wonder if there would be as many issues for farangs in Thailand if they explained to the women up front that they have little money(which may or may not be true) but will treat them well and never cheat on them. On the other hand many men come here to prey on these beautiful ladies and once it happens to her she thinks all farangs are the same. Respect and dignity go a long way folks.

Two totally different situations Olmate. I mentioned the HIV "story" as a way to teach the cheating woman a lesson. She was taking advantage of the poor guy and using him. My point is that if men would treat women with respect and not use money as the most important thing in a relationship they might have more success with the relationship. Many women might not know the feeling of being "respected". That in itself might cause a reaction in her that keeps her happy and loyal for life.
