Scaffolding

Featured Replies

Anyone know where you can buy the real (western style) scaffolding poles and clamps here in Thailand? Hopefully there might be somewhere in the Chiang Mai area, any ideas?

I don't want those small thin pipe versions that are used for painting ceilings, I am after some of the proper heavy duty type that are used by building contractors. I have seen some of it used in larger projects but unlike the UK you never see a phone number or any other details tagged on the sides.

Cheers.

It is a near as dammit 1 1/2 steel pipe Sc 40 OD 1.9" wall thickness 4mm So any decent Thai plumbing type store that has racks full of steel pipe.

Thanks a million!

You can kit yourself out at Global.

Round 50mm tubes in 6m lengths

Double clips at 50bt each

For the standards i suggest you buy some of the 150*150 square plates at 40bt and get someone to weld on the bottom ad a baseplate..

Your other alernative is to buy a tower scaffold, one  lift will cost around 4k bt, two ends and rails and cross braces. Maybe 1.8*1.2 and move it about.
