I would have put this in the health forum but no one would read it. :cheesy:

I want all TV members to calculate your body mass index and post it here.

I will go first. Mine is 21.8.

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

Penis size is next week.

  • A ridiculous and totally unreliable method, most NFL and rugby players would be classed as  obese by the BMI measurement.  Why people continue to peddle this nonsense astounds me.

  • Never mind "Index". As long as you can see the numbers on the scale without using a mirror, you should be ok.

Bruce Smith, the great Hall of Famer from the Buffalo Bills was 6'4" and 280. Under that calculator, he comes out at 33.4. But I remember from his playing days that he had a real BMI of 18.

Thanks for my lottery numbers. ????

22. But I am at peak laziness these days, exercise only 3 times a week. Need to find a way to motivate myself a bit more.

I think because for your average person it’s a good indicator of your “fat content”. It gives you a target to aim for / Sure someone who has very large muscle mass will not need to use this - your FNL or Rugby player .. weight lifter .. body builder ... is not fat .. :-) ..

24.4

Like Kiefer (which your profile photo looks like) , used to be fit like Jack Bauer, now like Tom Kirkman.  Muscle tone not at its peak anymore,  not bad for a 60 YO.

Anybody want to volunteer for feet?

BMI qualifications are BS as muscularity isn't in the equation.

Last one inches or mm?

Quote

BMI = 21.0

Waist = 28 inches (just like when I was a teenager - was 34 inches 2 years ago).  The reduction in lard is down to daily exercise and a healthy diet ????

Actually, you maybe should also have asked the age.  I'm just hitting 60.

If I can still see my penis without using a mirror, I figure I'm OK. That's in the non-aroused state. I don't wish to frighten everyone.

as it doesn't take into account muscle mass, build,  physical make up of any kind, it's good for absolutely  nobody.
