Is there any second hand market (with bicycle/TV) in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to buy a second hand bicycle and TV, but when I went to former one where is near princess royal collage, it's gone.

where can I find a second hand market (where, when) to buy bicycle and TV?

thanks

There were a few second hand bike shops round by Chiang Mai United football pitch, not sure if theyre still there. Problem I found was that they were not priced competitively, this is also what I find about 99% of Thai secondhand goods. Just go to Decathlon in Hang Dong and they sell decent bikes for 3,500. You'll be very lucky to find a good second hand bike here for that. TV's, just keep an eye on secondhand markets on facebook and you might get lucky!

Lots of bikes usually on Craig's list but it would mean a trip to bangkok. No big deal as you can take it back via train

facebook  secondhand bicycle     search.  couple groups.  usually overpriced garbage because farangs ride them a TON and then try to get a lot of money for super worn-out bikes.  spend 2000 baht just to get get it back to "bad" condition.   chains, tires, wheels, rust, you name it...

I have a mountain bike and a 32inch Sony TV for sale as I am leaving Chiang Mai soon. Send me a PM if you want more details. Thanks.
