A family member who is a Swedish citizen has a now 2 year old child with a Thai woman. He is himself now residing in Sweden with medical issues that makes him unable to himself pursue the matter or take responsibility for the child.

The Thai mother of the child does not herself stay with the child, who is now left in care of the mothers aunt and other relatives.

The three adult children of the father, whom all live in Sweden, wishes to take over the care of their younger sibling and bring her to Sweden for an upbringing there.

Would anybody have any sort of clue of where to start in the above described situation? Very thankful for any help.

Firstly, you will need the consent of the mother. If she does not consent then there is almost zero chance it will happen.
